I was tasked to design a series of 20 modular shapes with dimensions in multiples of 40mm. These shapes were then to be cut out of reclaimed timber and constructed into infinite varieties of bird boxes to be installed across Glossop.
Glossop residents influenced the colour palette. Volunteers sent in photos that highlighted Glossop's beauty. We then extracted the hex values that arose the most from these photos to make the colour palette.
The final results were constructed by Glossop volunteers:
